The foundation
More than 20 years ago, the idea of promoting social action within the company began to take shape. It was about responding to a motivation, and not a trend, to give back to society something that it had given us, and to provide the team of people at Grupo Lar with an instrument to channel these concerns. The award for the best social action plan, granted by the Fundación Empresa y Sociedad, and presented to us by His Majesty King Felipe VI, at that time Prince of Asturias, was the final push.
Our focus
We concentrate our efforts on education in its broadest sense, an essential pillar for the sustainable development of our society, and on construction, given our relationship with the real estate world. To this end, Grupo Lar dedicates 1,5% of its net profit to financing the activity of the Foundation. The ability to contribute our experience in other fields and to involve company collaborators has been consolidated over these years as a multiplying and contagious element that has great added value. Thus, we collaborate with organizations that develop projects in countries where we operate.
